Priority calls definition

Priority calls means those outages and events that are caused by an unanticipated accident or occurrence that damages any generation, transmission, or distribution facilities and that do not meet the definition of "emergency" as provided for in this Section."

Examples of Priority calls in a sentence

  • With the exception of emergencies, which are declared by the HELP Desk coordinator, service call priority is initially set by the HELP Desk as “New”, and reprioritized by the receiving technician based on the following criteria:  Urgent – Urgent Priority calls are defined as an incident where an individual’s computer or telephone equipment is determined to be completely unusable, with no availability of alternative accommodations.

  • Urgent Priority calls will receive a response within four working hours.

  • In addition to those officers who patrol the city centre on a 24/7 basis and who routinely respond to all Emergency and Priority calls, a Dedicated Neighbourhood Policing Team similarly exists for the city centre.

  • In support of services outlined in this Agreement, ABS will respond to service-related incidents and/or requests submitted by the Customer within the following time frames: • High Priority calls within 4 business hours based on a yearly average.
