PRIMARY SCREENING definition

PRIMARY SCREENING means conducting an assay, screen or other test on a Collaboration Compound under the Research to determine physical chemical profiles and in vitro pharmacological and toxicological profiles.
PRIMARY SCREENING means use of an Aurora Assay to determine potential therapeutic or pharmaceutical activity or efficacy of compounds in the Aurora Compound Library.
PRIMARY SCREENING shall refer to high throughput synthesis or screening * with throughput significantly higher than Symyx’ secondary screening devices generally made available to Third Parties as Discovery Tools (e.g. PPR(R) and multi-channel fixed bed reactors). “Non-Primary Screening” shall mean all synthesis or screening activities that are not Primary Screening activities.
