ANT 101 Anthropology definition
ANT 101 Anthropology. The Cultural View meets the SCA core requirement as well as a requirement of the major. SBS/HRD 200 Multicultural Growth and Development also meets the SCA core requirement. ANT 101 also meets the DIV and INT core requirements, but can only be applied to one of these two. Other required SBS courses also fulfill these core requirements, and additional 'double-dips' are listed below.

ANT 101 also meets the DIV and INT core requirements, but can only be applied to one of these two. Other required SBS courses also fulfill these core requirements, and additional 'double-dips' are listed below. Note B: CMCC's MAT 100 or higher counts as a general elective unless it is Statistics, in which case it can fulfill both the QR core requirement and the requirement of the SBS major in place of LCC 150 Statistics for Informed Decision Making.

Note D: The USM core Diversity requirement is met by multiple courses in the HUS and SBS degrees, including CMCC's PSY 202, SBS 300 Deviance and Social Control, and ANT 101 from both institutions. IMPORTANT: If the student is changing fields or settings, an additional internship may be very much to their benefit!! This should be determined jointly with their advisor. In that case, Practicum I would instead be counted as a general elective or alternatively, a Thematic Cluster course.
