PRESENT EMPLOYMENT definition
PRESENT EMPLOYMENT means the period starting with the employee's most recent entry into the County service and continuing until separation from such service. However, continuous service immediately prior to separation of a regular employee because of disability, retirement or layoff shall be counted in computing the duration of present employment, if the employee returns to County service within three years of such separation.
