Prepackaged Medication definition

Prepackaged Medication means medication labeled with the consumer name, medication name, medication dosage, and the date and time the medication is to be administered. Each medication must be packaged separately and labeled.

  • Packaged means bottled, canned, cartoned, or securely wrapped.

  • Prescription medication means any medication that requires a physician prescription before it may be obtained from a pharmacist.

  • Medication means any drug, chemical, compound, suspension, or preparation in suitable form for use as a curative or remedial substance taken either internally or externally by any person.

  • Medical marijuana product means a product that contains cannabinoids that have been extracted from plant material or the resin therefrom by physical or chemical means and is intended for administration to a licensed patient, including but not limited to concentrates, oils, tinctures, edibles, pills, topical forms, gels, creams, and other derivative forms, except that this term does not include live plant forms.
