Preliminary Operation definition

Preliminary Operation means all activities undertaken as part of commissioning and shall include mechanical and electrical checkouts, calibration of instrument and protection devices, commissioning of sub and supporting systems and chemical cleaning of the plant, system and equipment covered under the Contract.

  • Keystone shall notify Seller of the Preliminary Operation Date and the Commercial Operation Date immediately upon the determinations of such dates.

  • The Concessionaire shall effect and maintain at its own cost, during the Preliminary Operation Period, the Initial Operation Period, the Construction Period and the Operation Period, such insurances for such maximum sums as may be required under the Financing Agreements and Applicable Laws, and such insurances as may be necessary or prudent in accordance with Good Industry Practice.

  • Any maintenance activity to be performed by the Concessionaire during the Preliminary Operation Period shall be done at the cost and expense of the Authority.
