Preferred worker means a subject Oregon worker as described in ORS 656.005(26) and ORS 656.027 who, because of permanent disability resulting from a compensable injury or occupational disease, is unable to return to regular employment and meets the Preferred Worker Program eligibility criteria for assistance under these rules.
