The City shall establish a Paramedic Preceptor program to provide a mentoring relationship between a paramedic student and established firefighter/paramedics.
During the life of this Agreement, the Medical Center will provide a Preceptor program for those Registered Nurses who volunteer, meet Preceptor requirements, and who are designated by the Medical Center in the tutoring of other employees to a unit/department.
This Preceptor program and the tutoring of Preceptors shall be the direct responsibility of the Education Department.
