Pre-Need definition

Pre-Need means funeral services arranged in advance of the death of the person.
Pre-Need means the purchase of Interment Rights and applicable associated Cemetery Services at least 120 days in advance of need through a guaranteed price Pre-Need Contract.
Pre-Need means prior to the beneficiaries death.

  • Nothing contained in this Section 3.01(e) is intended to prevent Liberty from independently developing software pursuant to an independent request by a current issuer and/or marketer of Pre-Need Policies for purposes of processing policy administration data for such issuer or for servicing closed blocks of Pre-Need Policies.

  • The Funeral Home assumes all liability to provide the Services and Merchandise to be obtained under the Pre-Need Agreement to the extent guaranteed under the Pre-Need Agreement, regardless of the results of investment in the Investment Options.

  • Liberty agrees that it will not disclose to any current issuer of Pre-Need Policies or any Affiliate of such issuer, the design or function of any such Software Modifications or other software developed pursuant to Additional Services: The provisions of this Section 3.01(e) are intended to retain for UFL the benefit of the use of the Software Modifications and any software developed by Liberty pursuant to Additional Services within the industry issuing Pre-Need Policies.

  • Certificate of need means a written authorization by the department for a person to proceed with a proposal subject to 50-5-301.

  • Special Needs beneficiary is one who needs additional time to complete his/ her education due to physical, mental or emotional limitations.   • Medical home means a team approach to providing health care that originates in a primary care setting; fosters a partnership among the patient, the personal provider, other health care professionals, and where appropriate, the patient’s family; utilizes the partnership to access all medical and nonmedical health-related services needed by the patient and the patient’s family to achieve maximum health potential; maintains a centralized, comprehensive record of all health-related services to promote continuity of care; and has all of the characteristics specified in Iowa Code section 135.158.

  • Special needs child means a child with needs for emotional care, behavioral care, or physical and personal care which require additional skill, knowledge, or responsibility on the part of the foster parents, as measured by Form 470-4401, Foster Child Behavioral Assessment. See subrule 156.6(4).
