PRC Schools definition

PRC Schools means the schools as set out in Appendix I(B) (each a “PRC School”, collectively “PRC Schools”)
PRC Schools means the colleges and schools as set out in Annex I (B) (each a “PRC School”, collectively “PRC Schools”);
PRC Schools means all English tutoring schools directly operated by Shenzhen Meten or its subsidiaries, and each a “ PRC School”;

  • According to the consultation with the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, they would not approve the Company’s application to convert the PRC Schools into Sino-Foreign Joint Venture Private Schools and there were no implementing measures or specific guidance on the Qualification Requirement.

  • Furthermore, in Guangdong Province, whether the school chooses to require reasonable returns or not has no adverse impact on the payment of service fees by the PRC Schools to Tibet Kepei.

  • Under the Exclusive Call Option Agreement, the Registered Shareholders have irrevocably and unconditionally granted Tibet Kepei or its designated purchaser the right to purchase all or part of the school sponsor’s interest in the PRC Schools and equity interest in the School Sponsors (the “Equity Call Option”).

  • Entrustment of the School Sponsor’s rights in the PRC Schools by the School Sponsors.

Related to PRC Schools

  • Public schools means all kindergartens and elementary

  • PRC means the People’s Republic of China, but solely for the purposes of this Agreement, excluding Hong Kong, the Macau Special Administrative Region and the islands of Taiwan.

  • Public school academy means a public school academy or strict discipline academy organized under the revised school code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.1 to 380.1852.

  • Schools means preschools, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and similar facilities, both public and private, used primarily for the instruction of minors.

  • Mainland China means the People's Republic of China but excluding Hong Kong and Macau;

  • Proprietary school means a school that uses a certain plan or method to teach a trade, occupation, or vocation for a consideration, reward, or promise of any kind. Proprietary school includes, but is not limited to, a private business, trade, or home study school. Proprietary school does not include any of the following:

  • China means the People’s Republic of China, excluding, for purposes of this Agreement, Hong Kong, the Macau Special Administrative Region of the PRC and Taiwan.

  • PRC Law means the then valid laws, administrative regulations, administrative rules, local regulations, judicial interpretations and other binding regulatory documents of the People’s Republic of China.

  • Public school means any institution or activity operated by

  • scientific research means any activity in the field of natural or applied science for the extension of knowledge;

  • Modern biotechnology means the application of:

  • Culture means a set of distinctive spiritual, material, religious, intellectual, creative, and emotional attributes of a society or social group, and encompasses, in addition to art and literature, lifestyles, ways of living together, values, traditions, and beliefs.

  • Public research university means Rutgers, The State University

  • High school means grades 9 through 12.

  • HK$ Hong Kong dollars, the lawful currency of Hong Kong;

  • WFOE has the meaning set forth in the Preamble of this Agreement.

  • HKFE means the Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited.

  • School climate means the quality and character of school life with a particular focus on the quality of the relationships within the school community between and among students and adults.

  • CJA means the Courts of Justice Act, RSO 1990, c C-43, as amended;

  • At school means in a classroom, elsewhere on school premises, on a school bus or other school- related vehicle, or at a school-sponsored activity or event whether or not it is held on school premises. “At school” includes conduct using a telecommunications access device or telecommunications service provider that occurs on or off school premises if the telecommunications access device or the telecommunications service provider is owned by or under the control of the school.

  • University school means an instructional program operated by a public university under section 23 that meets the requirements of section 23.

  • Medical school means an accredited program for the training of individuals to become physicians.

  • HKMA means the Hong Kong Monetary Authority;

  • Biometrics means a technique of personal identification that is based on physical, physiological or behavioural characterisation including blood typing, fingerprinting, DNA analysis, retinal scanning and voice recognition;

  • hostel means a place of residence for the students of the University, or its colleges, institutions and study centers, established or recognized to be as such by the University;

  • Microenterprise means an enterprise which employs fewer than 10 persons and whose annual turnover and/or annual balance sheet total does not exceed EUR 2 million;
