Power Capacity definition

Power Capacity means the maximum electric output a generator can produce under specific conditions;
Power Capacity means the maximum dependable operating capability of an energy resource, as measured in MW, to charge or discharge energy.

  • The only method of increasing Power Capacity is to contract for additional contiguous Customer Space (the purchase of non-contiguous customer space will not increase Customer’s Power Capacity).

  • If Seller fails to satisfy the Storage Power Capacity Guarantee in accordance with the requirements set forth in Exhibit T, then Seller shall be liable to PacifiCorp for the Storage Power Capacity Damages calculated and paid in accordance with Exhibit T.

  • Seller must promptly provide to PacifiCorp an oral report, via telephone to a number specified by PacifiCorp with a backup written confirmation (or other method approved by PacifiCorp in writing), of any Forced Outage of the Storage Facility resulting in more than five percent (5%) of the Storage Power Capacity Rating of the Storage Facility being unavailable.

  • If Customer fails to execute a Work Order to increase Power Capacity within five (5) days after receipt of notice for QTS of Excess Demand, or fails to reduce its electric power consumption, Customer will be subject to suspension of electric power.

  • Seller is responsible for the costs and expenses associated with obtaining from Interconnection Provider interconnection service for the Storage Facility at its Guaranteed Storage Power Capacity Rating.

  • Owner guarantees the Project will maintain Power Capacity not less than the Contract Capacity for the Contract Term, as measured in the Storage Rating Tests described in Exhibit C.

Related to Power Capacity

  • New Capacity means a new Generator, a substantial addition to the capacity of an existing Generator, or the reactivation of all or a portion of a Generator that has been out of service for five years or more that commences commercial service after the effective date of this definition.

  • Contract Capacity has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1(f).

  • Idle capacity means the unused capacity of partially used facilities. It is the difference between (a) that which a facility could achieve under 100 percent operating time on a one-shift basis less operating interruptions resulting from time lost for repairs, setups, unsatisfactory materials, and other normal delays and (b) the extent to which the facility was actually used to meet demands during the accounting period. A multi-shift basis should be used if-it can be shown that this amount of usage would normally be expected for the type of facility involved.

  • Project Capacity means the AC capacity of the project at the generating terminal(s) and to be contracted with MSEDCL for supply from the Solar Power Project.

  • Reserved Capacity means the maximum amount of capacity and energy that the Transmission Provider agrees to transmit for the Transmission Customer over the Transmission Provider’s Transmission System between the Point(s) of Receipt and the Point(s) of Delivery under Tariff, Part II. Reserved Capacity shall be expressed in terms of whole megawatts on a sixty (60) minute interval (commencing on the clock hour) basis.
