Positive Performance definition

Positive Performance means the performance of the Underlying, determined according to the following formula: Max[0; (Final Reference Value / Initial Reference Value) – 1] Final Notional Amount means, in relation to Interest Rate Warrants, the amount specified as such in the applicable Final Terms; Final Reference Value means the value or the values calculated by the Calculation Agent pursuant to the following provisions, in accordance with the relevant Final Terms:If the Underlying is one or more financial asset(s) (and not a Basket):

  • Energy Performance Score means the numeric rating generated by Portfolio Manager that compares the Energy usage of the building to that of similar buildings.

  • Performance Year means the calendar year prior to the year in which an Annual Award is made by the Committee.

  • Adjusted EPS means earnings per share further adjusted for share-based payments, amortization of acquired intangible assets, items outside the normal scope of our ordinary activities (including other items, within selling, general and administrative expenses, losses/(gains) on items held at fair value and remeasurements through profit and loss, impairment losses on tangible assets, and impairment losses on intangible assets) and the related tax effects of these adjustments.   • Performance Milestone means an act or event specified in section 5.1 and described in section 9 of the EPLA.
