Pondage definition

Pondage means Live Storage of only sufficient magnitude to meet fluctuations in the discharge of the turbines arising from variations in the daily and the weekly loads of the plant.

Examples of Pondage in a sentence

  • The amount of the energy scheduled from the pondage account shall not exceed the Purchaser’s Allocation of Pondage determined in accordance with Section 7(b)(4).
