Point Code definition

Point Code means a 0-digit code that identifies a Service Platform connected to the CCS/SS7 network that is capable of sending, processing, or receiving SS7 messages. A Point Code may be referred to either as an Originating Point Code or a Terminating Point Code.
Point Code means a 9-digit code that identifies a Service Platform connected to the CCS/SS7 network that is capable of sending, processing, or receiving S7 messages. A Point Code may be referred to either as an Originating Point Code or a Terminating Point Code.

Examples of Point Code in a sentence

  • When such limits apply, they apply to all companies whose Queries use the same Originating Point Code as the Service Platform being restricted.
