Plural definition

Plural shall be considered as if the singular has been used where the context herein so requires and vice-versa.
Plural means more than one, which might be two or three or more. But there is some confusion with some nouns, which might be regarded singular or plural, and (-s plural) is not always the marker of being plural because some words end with the inflectional suffix (-s), such as physics and phonetics.
