PLHCP definition

PLHCP means physician or other licensed health care professional who is an individual whose legally permitted scope of practice (i.e., license, registration, or certification) allows him or her to independently provide or be delegated the responsibility to provide some or all of the health care services required by this section.

Examples of PLHCP in a sentence

  • Prior to being fit tested, all employees are required to complete a medical questionnaire from a Professional Licensed Health Care Provider (PLHCP) designated by management.

  • The PLHCP will be versed in the Contractor – specific protocols and testing procedures required by the Contractor’s Medical Director.

  • The PLHCP shall administer the TB Screening with an initial test material injection on the participant’s forearm.

  • The medical health screening shall be performed by a physician or other licensed healthcare professional (PLHCP) authorized to perform such a physical screening, with such cost at the expense of the Contractor.
