Pleas definition

Pleas means the Contractor or any of its Contract Managers has pledguilty” or entered a plea of “nolo contendere” or “no contest” to Criminal Activity occurring within the Authority or relating to this Agreement.

  • Fire district “Health District,” “Hospital District,” and “Library District” shall correspond to categories of Special Districts recognized by the U.S. Census Bureau.4 References to a State’s Subdivisions or to a Subdivision “in,” “of,” or “within” a State include Subdivisions located within the State even if they are not formally or legally a sub-entity of the State; provided, however, that a “Health District” that includes any of the following words or phrases in its name shall not be considered a Subdivision: mosquito, pest, insect, spray, vector, animal, air quality, air pollution, clean air, coastal water, tuberculosis, and sanitary.

  • Conviction means a finding of guilt (including a plea of nolo contendere) or imposition of sentence, or both, by any judicial body charged with the responsibility to determine violations of the Federal or State criminal drug statutes.
