Playoffs definition

Playoffs. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Cup Playoffs" or "Playoff Games" means the games or schedule of games, as appropriate, conducted by the NHL following the conclusion of the Regular Season, which lead to the determination of the winner of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Cup Championship, in accordance with the provisions of Section 27 of the NHL By-Laws and Article 16 of this Agreement.
Playoffs means, with respect to any Season during the term of this Agreement, the period beginning on the first day and ending on the last day of playoff (as opposed to pre-season or regular season) competition among or between NBA teams.
Playoffs means the period of time commencing with the day following the last regularly scheduled ECHL game and continuing for each Member qualifying for the Playoffs until the day that Member is eliminated from the Playoffs or completes the final championship game of the Season.

Examples of Playoffs in a sentence

  • Normally, this would include out of state travel, elementary grade trips to Greenfield Village, Chicago Museum, MHSAA Playoffs, and specific non-conference contests.

  • Season bets, regardless whether these include outcomes obtained during Playoffs or otherwise, as well as offers referring to particular teams or player performances will remain valid irrespective of eventual player trades, team movements, name changes, season length or playoff format changes during any point in the season.

  • During the America’s Cup Challenger Playoffs, access to the Racing Area at the Venue of the Match during the time of day when racing in the Match is scheduled shall be shared equally between the Challengers (50%) and the Defender (50%), such that if either has exclusive access then the other is allowed the same period of exclusive access.
