Plat, subdivision means the division of land unit into seven or more units.
Plat, subdivision means the graphical representation of the subdivision of land, prepared by a registered land surveyor, having a number or letter designation for each lot within the plat and a succinct name or title that is unique within Linn County.
Plat, subdivision means a division of a lot, tract, or parcel of land into two (2) or more lots, building plots or sites, or other subdivisions of land for the purpose, whether immediate or future, of sale, transfer for building development, right-of-way dedication, or other use, that is prepared and sealed by an Iowa licensed professional land surveyor, provided, however, this definition of a subdivision shall not include divisions of land into forty (40) acres or more in size parcels of land for agricultural purposes.
