Planter Strip definition

Planter Strip or “Park Strip” shall mean the area between the curb and the sidewalk, or publicly owned land adjacent to a publicly owned street or sidewalk.
Planter Strip means the area (if any) located between the outside edge of the curb on a given side of the street and the outside border of the City right-of-way on the same side of the street. Planter Strip shall also include tree-well sites located within the City right-of-way.(Ord. No. O-93-0020, Enacted, 07/06/93)
Planter Strip means that part of a street right-of-way between the abutting property line and the curb or traveled portion of the street, exclusive of any sidewalk.

  • Flexible vinyl adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond flexible vinyl to substrates. Flexible vinyl means a nonrigid polyvinyl chloride plastic with at least five percent, by weight, of plasticizer content. A plasticizer is a material, such as a high boiling point organic solvent, that is incorporated into a vinyl to increase its flexibility, workability, or distensibility, and may be determined using ASTM Method E260-91 or from product formulation data.
