Planted Spin-off definition

Planted Spin-off means a motion picture or television program or other comparable production which is not based on the Property and in which a principal character is an SPE Character (as defined in Section 11.c(i)). SPE shall own all rights in Planted Spin-offs and shall have the unrestricted right to produce and distribute Planted Spin-offs at any time.

Examples of Planted Spin-off in a sentence

  • With respect to Planted Spin-offs which are feature-length motion pictures intended for initial theatrical release, $500,000, payable on commencement of principal photography, as an advance against a participation equal to 1.25% of the Gross Proceeds of the applicable Planted Spin-off.

  • A planted spin-off ("Planted Spin-off") shall be defined as a new series derived from the first series containing characters contained in the first television series, but not utilizing characters created by Writer and contained in the Picture.

  • In the event of a Planted Spin-off, Writer shall receive one-fourth (1/4) of the sums set forth in Paragraph 7B.3 above.

Related to Planted Spin-off

  • Winter Season means the period commencing on November 1 of any year and ending on the next succeeding March 31.

  • Peak Season means the weeks containing the 24th through 36th Wednesdays of the calendar year. Each such week shall begin on a Monday and end on the following Sunday, except for the week containing the 36th Wednesday, which shall end on the following Friday.

  • Transit Traffic means traffic originating on CLEC’s network that is switched and transported by AT&T-TSP and delivered to a Third Party Terminating Carrier’s network or traffic from a Third Party Originating Carrier’s network. A call that is originated or terminated by a CLEC purchasing local switching pursuant to a commercial agreement with AT&T-TSP is not considered Transit Traffic for the purposes of this Attachment. Additionally Transit Traffic does not include traffic to/from IXCs.

  • Properly Shredded Garbage means the wastes from the preparation, cooking, and dispensing of food that have been shredded to such a degree that all particles will be carried freely under the flow conditions normally prevailing in public sewers, with no particle greater than one-half (1/2) inch (1.27 centimeters) in any dimension.

  • Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) means the diameter of the trunk of a mature tree generally measured at a point four and a half feet above ground level from the uphill side of the tree. For species of trees where the main trunk divides below the 4 ½ foot height, the DBH shall be measured at the highest point before any division.
