  • Customer shall mean a Member that is a retail end-user of electricity within the MAAC Control Zone or PJM West Region.

  • Unless this Agreement is terminated as provided in Section 4.2, every entity which is or will become a Load Serving Entity within the PJM West Region is to become and remain a Party to this Agreement or to an agreement (such as a requirements supply agreement) with a Party pursuant to which that Party has agreed to act as the agent for the Load Serving Entity for purposes of satisfying the obligations under this Agreement related to the load within the PJM West Region of that Load Serving Entity.

  • Any entity that is or will become a Load Serving Entity within the PJM West Region and thus a Party to this Agreement shall submit a notice to the Office of the Interconnection together with (i) its representation that it has satisfied or will (prior to the date this Agreement is to become effective as to that entity) satisfy the requirements to become a Party, and (ii) a deposit in an amount to be specified that will be applied toward the costs of any required analysis.

  • PJM Region shall have the meaning specified in the Operating Agreement. PJM Tariff, Xxxxxx, O.A.T.T., OATT or PJM Open Access Transmission Tariff: “PJM Tariff,” “Tariff,” “O.A.T.T.,” “OATT,” or “PJM Open Access Transmission Tariff” shall mean that certain PJM Open Access Transmission Tariff, including any schedules, appendices or exhibits attached thereto, on file with FERC and as amended from time to time thereafter.

  • PJM EIS GATS means the PJM Environmental Information Services, Inc. Generation Attribute Tracking System.

  • PJM Control Area means the Control Area recognized by NERC as the PJM Control Area.

  • Office of the Interconnection Control Center means the equipment, facilities and personnel used by the Office of the Interconnection to coordinate and direct the operation of the PJM Region and to administer the PJM Interchange Energy Market, including facilities and equipment used to communicate and coordinate with the Market Participants in connection with transactions in the PJM Interchange Energy Market or the operation of the PJM Region.   • Interconnection Party means a Transmission Provider, Interconnection Customer, or the Interconnected Transmission Owner. Interconnection Parties shall mean all of them.

  • PJM Interchange Energy Market means the regional competitive market administered by the Office of the Interconnection for the purchase and sale of spot electric energy at wholesale in interstate commerce and related services established pursuant to Operating Agreement, Schedule 1, and the parallel provisions of Tariff, Attachment K - Appendix.   • PJM Interconnection, L.L.C. or "PJM" means the privately-

PJM Interchange Energy Market:

  • Surplus Interconnection Customer means either an Interconnection Customer whose Generating Facility is already interconnected to the PJM Transmission System or one of its affiliates, or an unaffiliated entity that submits a Surplus Interconnection Request to utilize Surplus Interconnection Service within the Transmission System in the PJM Region. A Surplus Interconnection Customer is not a New Service Customer.

  • Interconnection Point means the point(s) of connection(s) at which the project is connected to the grid i.e. it shall be at 11 / 22 kV bus bar level of substation of MSEDCL.

  • PJM Management means the officers, executives, supervisors and employee managers of PJM. PJM Manuals:

When used in an Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, the term may refer to a Transmission Owner whose facilities must be upgraded pursuant to the Facilities Study, but whose facilities are not directly interconnected with those of the Interconnection Customer.

  • Transmission Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect or add Merchant Transmission Facilities to the Transmission System or to increase the capacity of Merchant Transmission Facilities interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region or an entity that submits an Upgrade Request for Merchant Network Upgrades (including accelerating the construction of any transmission enhancement or expansion, other than Merchant Transmission Facilities, that is included in the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan prepared pursuant to Operating Agreement, Schedule 6).

  • Net energy metering means the difference between the kilowatt-hours consumed by a customer-generator and the kilowatt-hours generated by the customer- generator's facility over any time period determined as if measured by a single meter capable of registering the flow of electricity in two directions.

  • Geothermal energy means energy contained in heat that continuously flows outward from the earth that is used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • PJM Tariffs means the PJM OATT and the PJM Amended and Restated Operating Agreement, collectively.

  • Interconnection Service(s means any Interconnection, Resale Services, 251(c)(3) UNEs, Collocation, functions, facilities, products or services offered under this Agreement.
