Pit Utility definition

Pit Utility. Once an employee has accumulated operating a haul truck, primary crusher or a combination of the two which adds up to He or she will be promoted to the Utility position, be qualified to operate the primary crusher heavy-duty truck. Once an employee has been checked out (able to perform a proper circle check)& deemed able to maneuver a piece of Pit equipment in a safe manner, the time to be deemed Qualified will be calculated as follows.
