Physio Aid definition

Physio Aid means a person employed by the Employer to perform duties such as mobilising residents, setting up exercise equipment, supervising exercise programmes prescribed by a Physiotherapist, and assisting Physiotherapists with treatment sessions depending upon the Employee’s skills, qualifications and abilities, and the Employee’s job description under the supervision of a physiotherapist.

  • Physiotherapist means a health care professional who is registered in the part of the register maintained by the Health Professions Council under article 5 of the Health and Social Work Professions Order 2001 (establishment and maintenance of register) relating to physiotherapists and:

  • Prosthesis means an artificial substitute for a missing body part.

  • HEPA filter means high-efficiency particulate air filters that are rated to achieve a minimum initial particle-removal efficiency of 99.97 per cent using ASTM F 1471– 93 or equivalent standard;

  • Sensor means any measurement device that is not part of the vehicle itself but installed to determine parameters other than the concentration of gaseous and particle pollutants and the exhaust mass flow.

  • COVID-19 symptoms means fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea, unless a licensed health care professional determines the person’s symptoms were caused by a known condition other than COVID-19.
