Physician recommendation means a written
Physician recommendation means a written recommendation from a physician licensed to practice medicine in the state of California for a seriously ill person who is a resident of the state of California to use marijuana for personal medical conditions including, but not limited to, HIV/AIDS, cancer, glaucoma, epilepsy or other spasticity-related illnesses, migraine, or anorexia.

Peer-reviewed medical literature does not include publications or supplements to publications that are sponsored to a significant extent by a pharmaceutical manufacturing company or health carrier.

  • Academic Board means the Academic Board of the University College established under paragraph 13;

  • Independent Board Member means a trustee of the Fund who is neither an “interested person” of the Fund as defined in Section 2(a)(19) of the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, nor a party to the Proceeding with respect to which indemnification or advances are sought.
