Physical Ability definition

Physical Ability means an examination conducted by the District or independent 3rd party to assess an applicant’s agility, strength, or other physical characteristics which are necessary to the job.

Physical Ability means the ability to get the jacket on in freezing weather. “Behavior issue” means that there may be barriers to getting a jacket on because the individual has an aversion to putting clothes on and even in freezing weather refuses to put the jacket on. The intent of the item is to determine if the individual is at risk in changing environments or potentially harmful situations.

Examples of Physical Ability in a sentence

  • Changes to Test - The Employer is permitted to make administrative changes to the Physical Ability Test.

Related to Physical Ability

  • Physical abuse means any physical injury, mental injury, or threatened injury, inflicted by a person responsible for the child’s care other than by accidental means; or any physical or mental injury that cannot reasonably be explained by the child’s history of injuries or any aversive or deprivation procedures, or regulated interventions, that have not been authorized by Minn. Stat. § 125A.0942 or § 245.825.

  • Physical examination means the assessment of an individual’s health by a professional licensed to practice medicine or osteopathy, or by an advanced practice nurse or physician assistant.
