Permit Unit definition

Permit Unit means any article, machine, piece of equipment, device, process, or combination thereof, which may cause or control the release of air emissions of hexavalent chromium or nickel from a thermal spraying operation and which requires a permit to operate issued by a permitting agency.
Permit Unit means any part of a source required to obtain an operating permit as determined by the Technical Secretary.
Permit Unit means any article, machine or process equipment or other contrivance of which air pollutants emanate or are emitted. A permit unit is any singular continuous operation.
