Permissible Tolerance definition
Permissible Tolerance means the maximum permissible amount or quantity of a defect in road-asset condition that will not be exceeded at any time. If any defect exceeds the permissible tolerance, it shall be treated as "non-compliance" and the Contractor shall be paid in accordance with Maintenance Standards in this Section.
