Permanency worker definition
Permanency worker for this policy, is a CPSW who has expertise in permanency options for children in out-of-home care and who consults with Family Services CPSWs or other Division staff to facilitate planning for permanency early in the case.
Permanency worker means a Department representative, other than the child protective investigator, who is responsible for providing and monitoring services to a child and his or her family involved with the Department.
Permanency worker. “or assigned worker” means either the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) or Purchase of Service (POS) worker who is assigned case management responsibility for a child or youth.
