Performance Restoration definition

Performance Restoration. The Services performed during a shop visit in which, at a minimum, the combustor and high-pressure turbine are exposed and subsequently refurbished, consistent with the Repair Specification.
Performance Restoration means off-wing APU shop visits including disassembly, inspection, component repair and balancing, testing and reassembly of the relevant APU, accomplished in accordance with the APU manufacturer’s component maintenance manual, with a Scheduled Life Limited Part and Airworthiness Directive release of no less than 6,000 Cycles and 3 years and on-condition release of no less than 9,000 Flight Hours and 6,000 Cycles and 3 years;
Performance Restoration means: (a) with respect to an engine, the performance of engine maintenance accomplished in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer’s Workscope Planning Guide (WPG) and Engine Shop Manual (ESM), including at a minimum, a performance restoration workscope (or overhaul) for such engine’s high pressure compressor, combustor and high pressure turbine modules, together with other work conducted on any other of such engine’s modules, as required by the ESM, which is intended to restore the hardware integrity of the flow path and performance of the engine; and (b) with respect to an APU, the performance of any uninstalled APU maintenance.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, Engine Performance Restoration Reserves shall be calculated with respect to any relevant period based on the thrust rating at which the Engine is actually operated, from time to time, during such period.

  • LESSEE acknowledges that it is required under this Lease to pay to LESSOR the Engine Performance Restoration Reserves even if the Engines are placed under the FHA Agreement.

  • On [REDACTED: Item 2] of the calendar year immediately following the year in which Delivery occurs and thereafter on the [REDACTED: Item 2] of each subsequent Maintenance Rent Adjustment Period during the Lease Term, the Performance Restoration Maintenance Rent Rate applicable to each Engine will be adjusted based upon [REDACTED: Item 2].

  • Lessee’s actual Flight Hour-to-Cycle ratio during such calendar year (or portion thereof) will set the Engine Performance Restoration Maintenance Fund for the succeeding calendar year.

  • Without limiting the foregoing, at any shop visit during which a Module Performance Restoration is performed on any one of the Engine Modules, LESSEE will (a) build the Engine life-limited Parts to at least cycles remaining and (b) perform, at a minimum, a workscope sufficient to allow such Engine to achieve at least hours and cycles of operation following such shop visit.


More Definitions of Performance Restoration

Performance Restoration means the Services performed during an Engine shop visit in which, at a minimum, the compressor, combuster and high pressure turbine are exposed and subsequently refurbished, consistent with the workscope utilized for MCPH.
Performance Restoration of an Engine means heavy maintenance for such Engine performed by an Approved Maintenance Performer during a shop visit that requires the teardown/disassembly and refurbishment of the HPC and HPT modules of such Engine, and the inspection, teardown/disassembly and repair or refurbishment as and if required of each of the other modules of such Engine, that results in full performance restoration (within Engine manufacturer's limits) of such Engine.
Performance Restoration means, in relation to an Engine, the accomplishment of (a) a Level 3 refurbishment workscope of the combustor, nozzle guide vane and high pressure turbine sub-modules in such Engine, and (b) such additional work to the sub-modules of such Engine designed to result in an estimated target run time of at least 7,000 Cycles of on wing operation of such Engine before its next anticipated removal, in each case in accordance with the Engine Manufacturer’s then current V2500-A5 Maintenance Management Plan.
Performance Restoration of an Engine means a shop visit for such Engine performed by an Approved Maintenance Performer that involves a full refurbishment workscope (minimum of level 3 in accordance with the EMP) in respect of Module 41 (HPC, HPT and Combustor), and Module 51 (IPT) of the Engine, to the extent required by the Rolls Royce Engine Manual and the EMP, and which results in performance restoration of such Engine and the zero-timing of Module 41 (HPC, HPT and Combustor) and Module 51 (IPT) for soft-life purposes in accordance with the EMP.
Performance Restoration means an off-wing engine shop visit including performance restoration or full overhaul of core modules of the relevant Engine, accomplished in accordance with the Engine manufacturer's workscope planning guide as customized for Lessee, with a scheduled Life Limited Part and Airworthiness Directive release of no less than 7,500 Cycles and 3 years and on-condition release of no less than 11,000 Flight Hours and 7,500 Cycles and 3 years.
