Peer Group Performance definition

Peer Group Performance for each Performance Period means, unless otherwise determined by the Committee, for each Peer Company: (i) the Value of a common share of the Peer Company as at the last day of the Performance Period; minus (ii) the Value of a common share of the Peer Company on the first day of the Performance Period; plus (iii) the amount of all dividends declared on a common share of the Peer Company during the Performance Period; with the sum of (i), (ii) and (iii) divided by (iv) the Value of a common share of the Peer Company on the first day of the Performance Period.
Peer Group Performance for each Performance Period means, unless otherwise determined by the Committee, for each Peer Company: (i) the Fair Market Value of a Peer Share as at the last day of the Performance Period; minus (ii) the Fair Market Value of a Peer Share on the first day of the Performance Period; plus (iii) the amount of all dividends or other distributions declared on a Peer Share during the Performance Period; divided by (iv) the Fair Market Value of a Peer Share on the first day of the Performance Period.

Examples of Peer Group Performance in a sentence

  • If the Company’s total return to investors for the Peer Group Performance Period is less than the 33.33rd percentile of the peer group’s performance, then all XXX Restricted Shares shall be forfeited.

  • In its sole discretion, the Committee may make a payment to the Employee assuming a Peer Group Performance Percentage of up to ___ (___%) of the Performance Units instead of the pro-rata number of Performance Units as determined pursuant to this Section 3(a).

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event the Employee’s employment is terminated on account of death or disability, the Committee, in its sole discretion, may make a payment to the Employee pursuant to this Section 3(a) assuming a Peer Group Performance Percentage of up to two hundred percent (200%) instead of the Peer Group Performance Percentage determined in accordance with Section 2.

  • If the Company’s total return to investors for the Peer Group Performance Period is equal to the 33.33rd percentile of the peer group’s performance, then XXX Restricted Shares shall vest and XXX Restricted Shares shall be forfeited.
