PDBT definition

PDBT means any type of PDBT within the meaning of Chapter 9 (commencing with Section 7000) of Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code who has entered into a direct contract with a public entity for a public works project.

Examples of PDBT in a sentence

  • Any claim or dispute by the PDBT shall be submitted to the Engineer in accordance with Subsection 7.22.

  • Any Change Proposal or Claim submitted by the PDBT shall be signed by the authorized representative of the PDBT as defined in Subsection 2.5, and shall include the information set forth in this subsection 7.21.1 below.

  • The PDBT shall prepare any plans that may be required for temporary striping to the satisfaction of the Engineer.

  • The Claim shall include all the information required by Section 7.21.1. In order to substantiate the Claim, the PDBT shall, at a minimum, submit a specific description of the manner in which the condition impacts the PDBT’s construction schedule.

  • Approval of submittals by the Engineer shall not relieve the PDBT from responsibility for errors or omissions in the submittals.

  • The CITY shall compensate the PDBT based on the City Attorney’s interpretation of the CITY’s obligation to pay, or on a subsequent written agreement of the parties, or as determined by arbitration, or as fixed in a court of law.
