PCI PTS definition

PCI PTS means Payment Card Industry PIN Transaction Security.
PCI PTS means (formerly PCI PED) a set of security requirements focused on characteristics and management of devices used in the protection of cardholder PINs and other payment-processing related activities. The requirements are for manufacturers to follow in the design, manufacture and transport of a device.
PCI PTS means the PCI PIN Transaction Security Requirements, as released or updated from time to time, incorporating PIN Entry Device Security Standards, as published by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (or any successor organisation);

Examples of PCI PTS in a sentence

  • Vendor will, at all times during the term of this Agreement, be in compliance with the then current standard for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) for software, and PIN Transaction Security (PCI PTS) for hardware.

  • Contractor that sells and supports devices used to accept card payments (e.g., payment terminal) shall have the PIN Transaction Security (PTS) devices validated to conform to the PCI PTS standard.

  • Verifone Devices are all certified as PCI PTS POI with the Secure Reading and Exchange of Data (SRED) option which is a required feature to support P2PE.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, this exclusion does not apply to any MSR physically incorporated into a chip and pin payment terminal that is PCI PTS compliant, encrypts data, and uses EMV chip card technology.

  • All field devices shall be equipped with physical security features, in addition to technical, operational, and administrative security features required by INTERAC, PCI-DSS, PCI PTS, and PCI-PA where applicable, as well as Tokenization and End-to-End Encryption.

  • Entity will, at all times during the term of this Agreement, be in compliance with the then current standard for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) for software, and PIN Transaction Security (PCI PTS) for hardware.

  • PCI PTS 3.x certified, the devices ensure secure data and application management and enable highly secured electronic transactions.

  • Subrecipient will, at all times during the term of this Agreement, be in compliance with the then current standard for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) for software, and PIN Transaction Security (PCI PTS) for hardware.

Related to PCI PTS

  • €STRi-pTBD means, in respect of any TARGET Business Day falling in the relevant Interest Accrual Period, the €STR for the TARGET Business Day falling “p” TARGET Business Days prior to the relevant TARGET Business Day “i”;

  • Non-Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has not been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.

  • PCI DSS means the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, issued by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, as may be revised from time to time.

  • ri-pBD means, in relation to any Interest Accrual Period, the applicable Reference Rate as set out in the definition of “r” above for, where “Lag” is specified as the Observation Method in the applicable Final Terms, the Business Day (being a Business Day falling in the relevant Observation Period) falling “p” Business Days prior to the relevant Business Day “i” or, where “Lock-out” or “Observation Shift” is specified as the Observation Method in the applicable Final Terms, the relevant Business Day “i”;

  • Weapon-free school zone means school property and a vehicle used by a school to transport students to or from school property.
