Patrol Activities definition
Patrol Activities means those diverse activities directed toward the attainment of the objectives of enforcing the law, preventing and deterring crime, arresting criminal offenders, maintaining public order, and providing service to the community. Such activities include, but are not limited to, directing and enforcing traffic laws, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, conducting field interviews, arresting criminal offenders, issuing traffic citations and reporting quality of life issues. Patrol Personnel mean MDPD law enforcement personnel assigned to the Town.
