Patient Payment definition

Patient Payment means the amount the patient is obligated to pay the dentist for the service(s) listed on a claim. The patient payment shown on an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) represents the amount the patient is obligated to pay based on the Delta Dental group dental plan contract.
