Passive War definition
Passive War means a situation where the Insured Person is not actively involved in War,whether declared or not, or any Warlike operations, including use of military force by any sovereign nation to achieve economic, geographic, nationalistic, political, racial, religious or other ends.
Passive War means passive involvement in War, invasion, Civil War or in a Strike, or Riot by an Insured Person that is entirely beyond the control of the Insured Person.
Examples of Passive War in a sentence
Notwithstanding the non payment of any regular contribution, the Company will continue to deduct the monthly cost of insurance benefits (Death, TPD, Passive War and Accident), the monthly administration and investment fees as outlined under paragraphs 5.4 and 5.5 and as long as there are sufficient funds in the regular Investment Account to cover the monthly costs and fees due.
The above benefits are also payable in case of Total Permanent Disablement (TPD) or Passive War, if selected.
In no case the Passive War Risk shall be covered in Syria, Libya, North Korea, Iraq, Iran, Yemen Afghanistan and Palestine.
