Participating Covered Employee definition

Participating Covered Employee means (i) all salaried nonfaculty University employees who were 2388 employed as of the day prior to the Effective Date of the University's Human Resources System, and 2389 who elect pursuant to § 23-38.115 of the Act, to participate in and be governed by such human 2390 resources program or programs, plans, policies, and procedures established by the University, (ii) all 2391 salaried nonfaculty University employees who are employed by the University on or after the Effective 2392 Date of the Human Resources System, (iii) all nonsalaried nonfaculty University employees without 2393 regard to when they were hired, and (iv) all faculty University employees without regard to when they 2394 were hired.
Participating Covered Employee means (i) all salaried nonfaculty University employees who were employed as of the day prior to the effective date and who elect pursuant to § 23.1-1022 of the Act to participate in and be governed by such human resources program or programs, plans, policies, and procedures established by the University, (ii) all salaried nonfaculty University employees who are employed by the University on or after the effective date, (iii) all nonsalaried nonfaculty University employees without regard to when they were hired, and (iv) all faculty University employees without regard to when they were hired.

More Definitions of Participating Covered Employee

Participating Covered Employee for a given calendar year means a Covered Employee who has been selected by the Committee to participate in the annual incentive award for that calendar year under Article 8.

  • Covered Employer means the City of Cambridge or a Beneficiary of Assistance.

  • Covered employment means employment in a covered position.

  • Designated Employee means an employee who has been designated by the school to receive complaints of hazing, harassment and bullying pursuant to subdivision 16 V.S.A. 570a(a)(7). The designated employees for each school building are identified in Appendix A of this policy.

  • Participating employee means an employee whose election to participate in a Plan has been approved by the employer.

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employees’ employment status changed as such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.

  • Aggrieved Employee means all current and former hourly-paid or non-exempt employees of Defendant within the State of California at any time during the PAGA Period.

  • Eligible Employee means full-time and part-time employees in the bargaining unit who have completed four hundred and fifty (450) hours of service and who are not prohibited from contributing to the Plan by legislation or the Plan rules because of their age or because they are in receipt of a pension from the Plan.

  • Hired Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.6.

  • Covered Executives means the Company’s current and former executive officers, as determined by the Administrator in accordance with the definition of executive officer set forth in Rule 10D-1 and the Listing Standards.

  • Eligible Employees means each employee of the Company or an Affiliate.

  • Qualifying Employee means any employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries who is and has been an employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries for at least thirty-six (36) months.

  • Plan Participant means a person who is eligible to receive, and is receiving, a pension benefit from the Plan.

  • School employee means (1) a teacher, substitute teacher, school administrator, school superintendent, guidance counselor, psychologist, social worker, nurse, physician, school paraprofessional or coach employed by a local or regional board of education or working in a public elementary, middle or high school; or (2) any other individual who, in the performance of his or her duties, has regular contact with students and who provides services to or on behalf of students enrolled in a public elementary, middle or high school, pursuant to a contract with the local or regional board of education.

  • Participating Employer means any trade or business (whether or not incorporated) which adopts this Plan with the consent of the Company identified in the Adoption Agreement.

  • Eligible Participant means an employee, officer, consultant or director of the Company or any Affiliate.

  • Prospective employee means an assessed individual who is anticipated to be hired upon completion of training.
