Partial Shift definition

Partial Shift. The whose regular function is dis- continued part way through the shift shall be the one reassigned during that shift. Employees who are not performing their regular function shall be given the first opportunity to return to their normal function unless they are required to continue their present assignment due to the shortage of skills. The Company, however, may reassign any employee if nec- ▇▇▇▇▇▇ due to an incidental shortage of skills.

  • The Medical Center needs to low census and so calls the nurse at 1300 to low census for Mandatory Partial Shift / No Voluntary Low Census / “full shift credit.” 12-hour day shift nurse is called at 0500 and told she is on low census from 0700 -1500.

  • Vacation entitlement for employees on the " Partial Shift shall be as day workers.

  • If seven (7) day coverage is instituted it shall be accomplished by changing the work week in Non-Shift Assignment to Wednesday through Sunday for certain employees and/or changing the work week in Partial Shift Assignment to Wednesday through Sunday for certain employees.

  • A " Partial Shift Schedule" w i l l be posted to cover as long a period can be reasonably foreseen.

Related to Partial Shift

  • Partial Dependant means a "dependant" as prescribed in paragraph (a) of this subclause who receives a location allowance which is less than the location allowance prescribed in subclause (1) of this clause or who, if in receipt of a salary or wage package, receives less than a full consideration for which the location allowance is payable pursuant to the provisions of this clause.
