Part-time workers definition

Part-time workers means the workers who are other than short-time regular workers, and whose scheduled working hours per day are shorter than those of the full-time workers in the business establishment, or whose scheduled working hours per week are shorter than those of full-time workers in the business establishment even if the scheduled working hours per day are the same as those of the full-time workers, or who are called part-timers, part-time employees, etc. in the business establishment.
Part-time workers. : means employees who work for an employer for more than 24 hours in a particular month, are entitled to all rights in terms of the BCEA, where appropriate on a proportional basis but may also work part- time for another employer.
