Parking Enforcement definition

Parking Enforcement means the issuance of parking tickets or citations for violations of (i) the Parking Rules and Regulations with respect to the Metered Parking Spaces, Non-Metered Parking Spaces and Residential Permits and (ii) other Laws of Metro with respect to parking meters in effect from time to time, in each case in accordance with the Enforcement Policies and Procedures set forth in the Operating Standards.
Parking Enforcement means the issuance of parking tickets or citations and all other 629 enforcement actions for violations of the Enforcement Policies and Procedures with respect to the 630 Parking System, including any public ways and fire lanes. 631 “Parking Facilities” means, collectively, the CPF and the surface parking lots at the NZP.
Parking Enforcement means the activity of enforcing municipal parking by-laws and regulation, including the issuance of a certificate of parking infraction and parking infraction notice under Part II of the Provincial Offences Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.33;

Examples of Parking Enforcement in a sentence

  • The Friday immediately preceding any regular holiday that falls on a Saturday shall be deemed to be a holiday, excluding Police Department 24/7 operations (Custody, Communications or Records) and Parking Enforcement Detail.

  • Upon request, the entire annual uniform allowance may be advanced to a new Parking Enforcement Officer for the initial purchase of uniforms.

  • Employees reemployed as Parking Enforcement Officers after resigning to enter the Police Academy training shall be returned to their former Parking Enforcement Officer salary step, shall retain their formerly accrued sick leave balance, and shall retain prior service credit for purposes of vacation accrual and seniority under the terms of this contract provided the employee is reemployed within three months after leaving the Academy.

  • The Department may assign Parking Enforcement Officers to a Special Assignment according to the procedures outlined below.

  • The Employer recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for the purposes of collective bargaining for all Employees of the Dover Police Department in any of the following positions: Dispatcher, Parking Enforcement Officers, Police Officer, Secretary, Maintenance/Custodian, and Animal Control Officer.

  • The County shall, at the end of each calendar quarter, pay $230.00 dollars ($920.00 dollars annually) as a uniform allowance to each Parking Enforcement Officer (0724) who is employed on the date of payment and who is required to maintain a uniform.

  • The City shall provide the DDA services of City Parking Enforcement Officers for the purpose of enforcing DDA parking rules and limitations on DDA-owned or leased properties.

  • Parking Enforcement Officers shall receive holiday pay if a holiday falls on their regular day off.

  • Parking Enforcement Officers who are required, in the course and scope of their official employment, to appear in court or other official hearings other than during his/her work week schedule, shall receive a minimum of four hours pay if that appearance is on a scheduled day off.

  • Parking Enforcement Officers (PEOs) shall receive an annual uniform allowance of $445 per year, paid in two installments, in June and December.

Related to Parking Enforcement

  • Driveway means the improved land on a highway which provides vehicular access from the roadway to a laneway or parking area on adjacent land;

  • Parking Garage means all or a portion of a building or structure the principal or intended principal use of which is the parking or storage of motor vehicles but excludes all or a portion of a building or structure that provides no more than four motor vehicle parking or storage spaces accessory to a residential use;

  • Parking Open unreserved vehicle parking spaces ("UNRESERVED PARKING SPACES"); and reserved vehicle parking spaces ("RESERVED PARKING SPACES"). (Also see Paragraph 2.6.)

  • Parking Structure means a wholly or partly enclosed structure for temporary parking and protection of one or more motor vehicles which are otherwise in active use and which, when accessory to a single family residential building, includes an attached or detached carport or garage or a dedicated space within the principal building;

  • Landscaping means the treatment of land (other than buildings) being the site or part of the site in respect of which this planning permission is granted, for the purpose of enhancing or protecting the amenities of the site and the area in which it is situated and includes screening by fences, walls or other means of enclosure; measures to screen the refuse provision; planting of trees, hedges, shrubs or grass; formation of banks, terraces or other earth works, laying out of gardens, paved areas or courts and other amenity features.
