Parking Disc definition

Parking Disc means a disc, issued by a local authority, complying with the requirements of the British Standard Specification for Parking Discs (BS No. 4631: 1970), but coloured blue and capable of showing the quarter hours period during which a period of waiting begins; and
Parking Disc means a device which -
Parking Disc means the disc issued by the Local Authority complying with the requirements of Regulation 8(5) of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Exemptions for Disabled Persons) (England) Regulations 2000 and capable of showing the quarter hour period during which a period of waiting began.

Examples of Parking Disc in a sentence

  • Where as indicated on the Plans there is a limit on the time of stay on a disabled person’s Parking Place, the Driver of a vehicle shall upon leaving the vehicle in the disabled person’s Parking Place, display in the Relevant Position a Disabled Person’s Badge and a Parking Disc, on which has been marked the time at which the period of waiting began and shall remove that vehicle from the said Parking Place within the maximum time specified.

  • At all times during which a Vehicle is left in a Disabled Person’s Parking Place, there shall be displayed in the Relevant Position on the said Vehicle a valid Disabled Person’s Badge and, if the Disabled Person’s Parking Place is time-limited, a Parking Disc.

  • Nothing in this Order shall prohibit a person to cause or permit a Disabled Person’s Vehicle which displays in the relevant position a Disabled Person’s Badge and Parking Disc (on which the driver, or other person in charge of the vehicle, has marked the time at which the period of waiting began) to wait in the lengths of road or on the side of road referred to in that Article for a period not exceeding the time specified in the current regulations.

  • Disabled Badge holders may park on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours, and in limited waiting bays for an unrestricted 4 Comprehensive Blue Badge (Disabled Parking) Reform Strategy (England), October 2008 period, provided that the Special Parking Disc (issued with the Disabled Badge) is displayed showing the time of arrival.

  • Nothing in Articles 11, 12 and 13 of this Order shall render it unlawful to cause or permit any Vehicle to wait in the lengths of roads referred to therein if the Vehicle is a Vehicle which displays in the Relevant Position both a Disabled Person’s Badge and a Parking Disc marked to show the quarter hour period during which the period of waiting began.
