Parenting definition

Parenting is fulfilling the role of principal caregiver to the dependent child/children in the home or institution if the child is institutionalized.
Parenting means according to French civil lawparental authority” in the sense of rights and duties. This legal category is based primarily on an anthropological constellation (principles of genealogy and filiations) and is still related to the civic and social position of the citizen. Parental authority arises from a responsibility for health, security, morality, child-raising and protection of the child. These point to the restriction of the mandate to co-parenting.
