Employees hired prior to July 1, 2021 will be certified as either Paraeducator I or Paraeducator II by June 30, 2022.
For example, a Paraeducator I - Special Education, whose normal assignment is at Range 25, Step 5 on the salary schedule, but accepts a summer position as a Paraeducator – General Ed (Range 20), will be compensated at Range 20, Step 5.
