PALS certification definition

PALS certification or "certification in PALS" means valid certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support as issued by the American Heart Association.

Examples of PALS certification in a sentence

  • In the event that care is provided to children under ten (10) years of age, the recovery room registered nurse must have current Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

  • Maintain and submit proof of certification with a current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification where Pediatrics is the primary resident for the duration of their Residency Program.

  • The Trainee agrees to complete Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to starting the first year of residency training and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, prior to December 1st of the first year of training.

  • They must present evidence of certification in ACLS or PALS certification by the American Heart Association prior to the completion of their training program, as required by the individual RRC.

  • The Resident agrees to complete Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to starting the first year of residency training and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, prior to March 1st of the first year of training.

  • Add a 10 year seniority step, with PALS certification, that is 2% above the 6 Year with PALS rate, as described on the attached scales.

  • Standard prerequisites for entering employment or training shall not be considered compensable services, except that the Employer will provide the opportunity for HOI’s to receive BLS, ACLS and/or PALS certification during the institutional orientation.

  • The Resident agrees to complete Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to starting the first year of residency training and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, prior to December 1st of the first year of training.
