Pakikisama definition
Pakikisama means sharing in a collective activity as an expression of oneness with the group. It is a behaviour promoting friendship, cooperation, and harmonious relationships (Macdonald, 2013). “Pakikisama” is making others feel a sense of belongingness and acceptance in a group. It is making others feel welcome, safe, and nurtured (Villero, Macaerag, & Burke, 2014), regardless of social and economic status.
