PABG definition

PABG means a peripheral artery bypass graft, typically composed of saphenous veins (although other vessels can be used), that are implanted into patients with an occluded or stenosed artery in the periphery to bypass such occlusion or stenosis and to provide blood flow to otherwise ischemic tissue.
