Overtime-Scheduled definition

Overtime-Scheduled within a work week. A supervisor or manager may a lter regular daily work hours for operational need. If less than (5) days’ notice of change is provided, the employee will be paid contractual overtime for the hours worked instead of the regular daily work hours. This provision i s distinguished from “call back” in Section 13 below. In the event the City c hanges an employee’s schedule under this provision, the City will make best efforts to allow employees to work any remaining hours to fulfill the e mployee’s normal work schedule within the work week or the employee may use accrued vacation, compensatory, and/or holiday time. Employees may only use accrued paid leaves for hours when required to be at work.
