Overhoused definition

Overhoused. : means living in a unit that is too large, in terms of number of bedrooms, for the household as outlined in Canadian Mortgage Housing Corporation Occupancy Standards
Overhoused means that the number of people in Resident’s household is less than the number of bedrooms in the unit. Children who are under the age of six are not counted in determining whether Resident’s household is Overcrowded.

Examples of Overhoused in a sentence

  • This is the notice referred to in section 32(2) of Ontario Regulation 298/01 and section 3.8 of this By-law (Overhoused Geared-to-Income Households).

  • Overhoused Sticky Voucher Tenants who do not receive a Waiver will be given the opportunity, as described below, to rent appropriate sized vacant apartments to the extent available.

  • The Overhoused Sticky Voucher Tenants’ List shall be arranged according to a lottery of all Overhoused Sticky Voucher Tenants who submit their names to the managing agent; such lottery to be witnessed by a representative of the Tenant Association and supervised by HPD.

  • Overhoused Sticky Voucher Tenants who do not comply with the provisions of this subsection 3(b) shall be subject to eviction.

  • Should the Landlord determine as a result of a change in Household composition, that the Tenant no longer qualifies for the size and type of unit then occupied, based on the local occupancy standard established by the City of Greater Sudbury, which may be amended from time to time, the Tenant shall be considered Overhoused.

  • Overhoused Sticky Voucher Tenants will be able to select available appropriate sized vacant apartments strictly according to each Overhoused Sticky Voucher Tenant’s position on a list (the “Overhoused Sticky Voucher Tenants’ List”) to be maintained by the Landlord’s managing agent at the Project under the supervision of HPD.

  • After the Exit Date and after the initial group of Overhoused Sticky Voucher Tenants select new apartments as per Section 3 hereof.

  • They will be ranked in the following order: ▪ section 3.8 (Overhoused Geared-to-Income) ▪ section 3.9 (Special Needs - Modified Units) ▪ section 3.10 (Special Needs - Support Services) · third, to members on the Internal Waiting List who are required to transfer under the Co-op’s bylaws · fourth, to members who have requested an internal transfer · fifth, to external applicants.
