Overflow structure definition

Overflow structure means a diversion structure in a wastewater collection system that discharges wastewater to the ground surface or to waters of the State, circumventing the wastewater treatment facility, usually during high flow conditions.
Overflow structure means a pipe or other designed feature that conveys excess stormwater to an approved discharge point.
