Outside Service Area definition

Outside Service Area and its plural form shall mean an area or areas within the Central DM Region that are outside the boundary of a specific Activity Participant that is not a County for which the referenced Activity Participant provides services, including specifically those services necessary or appropriate for SGMA implementation within such Outside Service Area. The term “Outside Service Area” as used in this Agreement does not mean portions of a County covered by that County for SGMA purposes under Water Code Section 10724, and agreements among the County, Activity Participant and owners of the Outside Service Area may be required to document that the Activity Participant, rather than the County, will provide SGMA services for the Outside Service Area..
Outside Service Area shall include all properties served by the District outside the District's then-current boundaries. The "Inside Service Area" shall include all properties served by the District within the District's then-current boundaries.
Outside Service Area and “Outside Service Areas” of an Activity Participant shall mean an area or areas included within the boundaries of the such Activity Participant’s individual GSA that are outside the political boundaries of the Activity Participant and outside the boundaries of any other Activity Participant that is not a county, which Outside Service Area shall be subject to the Activity Participant’s management for purposes of the implementation of SGMA within the Northern DM GSA. For any multi-agency GSA in which a county is a party, the Activity Participant and applicable county must have in place a written agreement providing that the Outside Service Area shall be subject to the Activity Participant’s management for purposes of the implementation of SGMA within the Northern DM GSA.
